VINEYARD
The 45-year-old plot near Meersburg is characterized by crushed alpine limestone interspersed with larger pebbles. The complex care of the ancient vines leads to minimal yields of highly aromatic grapes.
BASEMENT, CELLAR
After the hand-picking, the wine is gently pressed and spontaneously fermented in French 500-litre tonneaux barrels. The frequent stirring of the yeast ensures the irresistible creaminess and fullness with a moderate alcohol content. Bottled unfiltered.
MOUTHFEEL
The scent is of crushed nettle, wood spice and roasted aromas. Expressive middle structure with a certain exoticism of papaya, mango and local lemon balm. A monument to Pinot Blanc. Firm backbone. Salted caramel in the Finnish.
